After a construction phase of just under one year, on 16 September 2020 Fraport handed over the keys for a new cargo handling warehouse to Swissport Cargo Services Deutschland GmbH. The new building – located in CargoCity South at Frankfurt Airport – has 17,000sqm of floor space, including special, temperature-controlled zones for handling sensitive pharmaceutical products.

Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air, has introduced a new route from Birmingham to Belfast. Beginning on 14 September 2020, the airline will operate up to four daily return flights from Birmingham Airport to Belfast City Airport.
