Blue Islands launches additional connectivity with new Loganair codeshare flights

Blue Islands’ new codeshare flights with its partner Loganair, Scotland’s airline, are now live. Initial connecting destinations from 26 October 2020 from Guernsey and Jersey include Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester via Southampton. Meanwhile, from Exeter/Southampton initial connecting destinations are Aberdeen and Inverness via Manchester.

Fast and direct ‘City-to-City’ connections between London and Belfast were restored on 7 September 2020, as flights resumed between the two cities’ most central airports. The five-times-a-week service between London City Airport and George Best Belfast City Airport is operated by BA CityFlyer.

The inaugural flight between Edinburgh Airport and Belfast City Airport with Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air, took off on 27 August 2020. The new route commenced as the airline expands its presence at Edinburgh Airport and increases connectivity between Scotland and Ireland.
