Sheremetyevo Airport investing to become “one of the largest passenger and cargo hubs in the world” by 2018

On 25 October, Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport held a large-scale presentation and a press tour to present the development programme for its main facilities, which will be complete in time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. This will allow sports teams, officials, fans and passengers to depart from the new terminal, and to move between the terminals directly under the airfield. Airlines, meanwhile, will have ample opportunities provided by the new cargo and refuelling complexes.

ADP Ingénierie, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Groupe ADP, is upgrading and extending Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The new terminal development, to be completed by 2021, will increase the airport’s capacity to 12 million passengers.
