The 2018 editions of IATA’s unique industry-recognised and approved ground-handling reference manuals – the Airport Handling Manual (AHM) and the IATA Ground Operations Manual (IGOM) – are available to order right now, in a variety of formats.

The AHM is the only industry-approved standard for safe and efficient airport operations, and the reference for the latest ground handling policies and safety guidelines. AHM also includes the globally accepted contract template, the Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA), which has a new 2018 version.

The IGOM is your definitive source for the latest industry-approved standards harmonising ground handling processes and procedures for frontline personnel. Its objective is to outline and standardise the generic procedures for most of the ground handling processes. It is also the reference tool for ISAGO auditors as an acceptable means of compliance.

Many important updates have been introduced in the new editions, providing the necessary guidance to run safe, secure and efficient ground handling operations in 2018.
