Revised EU regulatory framework for aviation security agreed

The European Parliament and Council of the European Union reached agreement on the revision of the regulatory framework for aviation security in January, after lengthy conciliation negotiations. ACI EUROPE has welcomed the news, which paves the way for an overhaul of the 2002 legislation.

CPH: increased throughput, increased security

Copenhagen’s has reported a 1.4% increase in throughput in May to 1.9 million. It has handled more than eight million in the year to date – up 2.4% year-on-year. The number of locally departing passengers increased by 4.6% to 29,482, and the number of transfer passenger by 5.9% to 16,736.
