Guy Stephenson, Chief Commercial Officer, Gatwick Airport: “The availability of this new Gatwick Premium Passport Control service to all our arriving customers will provide a more predictable, speedy and relaxed arrival into the UK.”

The aim of Gatwick Premium Passport Control is to offer speedier travel for business passengers and holidaymakers who want to get to their onward travel quickly and hassle free. It is limited to 50 passengers per hour in order to maintain its exclusivity.

The service is open to passengers of all airlines and classes of travel, and it is available to both EU and non-EU travellers. Other airports offer a similar service, however this tends to be restricted to business and first-class passengers.

“The availability of this new Gatwick Premium Passport Control service to all our arriving customers will provide a more predictable, speedy and relaxed arrival into the UK,” said Gatwick’s Chief Commercial Officer Guy Stephenson. “This is a further example of how Gatwick is investing to meet the requirements of our premium travellers, adding to our premium parking, premium security and limousine drop off services. Premium Passport Control will also get you quickly onto the fastest public transport links into the heart of London, thereby making the most of your valuable time.”

The service is offered at a charge of £12.50 per person, and can be pre-booked online. Passengers then take their confirmation email, either printed or displayed on their phone, to the Premium Gatwick lane where they are greeted by a dedicated host.

A UK Border Force Officer will check passengers’ passports as usual, before they progress to baggage reclaim or arrivals.
