ACI EUROPE Best Airport Award Winners For 2009 Announced
The 19th ACI EUROPE Annual Assembly, Congress and Exhibition hosted the 5th Annual ACI EUROPE Best Airport Awards in Manchester during the gala dinner.
This year’s judging panel was drawn from a well-respected group of independent experts including the European Commission, EUROCONTROL and the European Disability Forum.

Winners of the 2009 ACI EUROPE Best Airport Awards
- 1-5 million passenger category: Aeroporto G. Marconi Di Bologna SpA, Italy
- 5-10 million passenger category: TAV Ankara Esenboga Airport, Turkey
- 10-25 million passenger category: Palma de Mallorca Airport, Spain
- Over 25 million passengers category: Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the Netherlands
