With the launch of the new Heinemann app, Gebr. Heinemann is expanding the range offered by its Heinemann Duty Free shops to include attractive mobile services for passengers. Delivering advanced functionality, it is available now for iOS devices from the Apple App Store and from Google Play for Android devices.
Customers can use the app to visit the Heinemann online shop and discover a wide range of brands and offers from Heinemann Duty Free. They are also introduced to the Heinemann & Me customer motivation programme, and can use the app to register for the scheme. Following an update that loads the enhanced features, registered Heinemann & Me members are able to continue using the app as normal.
“The launch of the new Heinemann app is a further service we add to the concept of duty free shopping,” Markus Ettlin, Marketing Director, Gebr. Heinemann, commented. “Our new services packages meet the needs of customers for flexible and mobile services while creating additional points of interaction that enable us to understand them even better.”
The new app also provides a more personal shopping experience, with a special feature for customers valuing individual guidance – users can book a personal shopping assistant at a location of their choice, free of charge (participating Heinemann Duty Free shops are Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Salzburg, Vienna, Budapest and Oslo). In a one-on-one consultation, the assistant will help choose the ideal gift, an exclusive wine or the latest designer scent.
