The 1.4 million passengers who passed through St. John’s International Airport in 2011 was a record number and with regional trade and tourism booming, the airport is predicting further growth for the foreseeable future. Automating the airport experience

Thanks to a significant investment in new technology by Aéroports de Montréal (ADM), passengers travelling through Montréal-Trudeau Airport can now make use of a variety of innovations, including automated border control, self-service bag drop, real-time queue measurement, and an award-winning mobile website. Avinor experiencing record growth

Last year proved to be a record-breaking year for Avinor with more than 44 million passengers travelling through its 46 Norwegian airports – an increase of 4 million on 2010 and the highest number to date. The largest airport in the portfolio, Oslo Airport, accounted for 21 million passengers, but Trondheim and Stavanger airports were among the fastest-growing. Ryan Ghee reports.
