1,405 industry experts attend ACI Airport Exchange hosted by Oman Airports Management Company

Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC), which is responsible for the management and operations of the new $1.8 billion Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport, and other regional airports in the Sultanate of Oman, last week hosted the 11^th ACI Airport Exchange, staged jointly by ACI EUROPE, ACI Asia-Pacific and ACI World.

Hamad International Airport (HIA) actively participated in the ACI Airport Exchange as a Gold Sponsor. The event, hosted by Oman Airports Management Company, took place last week and gathered more than 1,400 leading experts from across the Middle East, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the rest of the world to exchange insights and knowledge about the aviation sector.

In Europe, 466 regional airports in 44 countries are ACI EUROPE’s members. These airports play a pivotal role in strengthening Europe’s air connectivity and national economies. They represent 91.7% of the European airport network, with 209 carriers and 14,600 routes to 724 destinations in 2017.
