The 25th ACI EUROPE General Assembly, Congress & Exhibition takes place in Prague, 24-26 June 2015, with the event all about ‘Airports and the Future of Tourism’.

The second working session – ‘Working hand-in-hand with tourist development agencies’ – will examine three case studies of successful collaborations between airports and tourist authorities. Chaired by OAG CEO Phil Callow, the full session line-up is:

Oman has been pursuing a clear path to upscale sustainable tourism in which airports, airlines and other tourist infrastructure, and tourist promotion, are carefully coordinated. Oman plans to refocus this effort this year with the announcement of a new 25-year plan stretching to 2040. What are the tangible results of the Oman tourism strategy so far and what are the aspirations for the new plan?
