Such features have recently helped secure additional orders for Vestergaard’s de-icers and since the 2008-2009 winter season, both major airlines at Chicago’s O’Hare airport each operate their respective fleet of Elephant Betas.
Other news from Vestergaard includes orders for three additional de-icers for Aéroports de Paris, bringing the total number of Elephants there to 30 and the introduction of a highly innovative and compact, yet highly capable aircraft de-icer, the new Vestergaard Elephant Sigma – which will have its public roll-out in October.
